I was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1962 but we moved back to Goldsboro, NC when I was 5 years old and my sister was 4, and we grew up there. I remember working hard with my grandfather during the summer for extra money. Not only was he a baptist preacher, but he also demolished old buildings and salvaged the brick and wood. We found an old trombone at a middle school we demolished but I never did learn to play that thing although I managed to keep an awful fuss with it that annoyed my mom. My parents divorced when I was in the first or second grade and my mom remarried into an abusive relationship and was divorced again by the time I reached middle-school.
I was gifted in academics and athletes as I played four years of high school basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society while being selected to attend the Governor's School during the summer of 1979 in Mathematics for Gifted and Talented students. I also won the One-on-One basketball tournament while I was there.
I attended NC State University in the School of Design and studied Environmental Design Architecture. The only school I applied to because I loved their basketball team. I became of member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. my sophomore year.
I was not focused nor dedicated to my college studies and joined the Army after 5 years of taking classes on and off. My first duty station was Coleman Barracks, Mannheim, Germany where I was a supply clerk and later supply sergeant. I met my lovely wife of 28 years in Mannheim and we have two outstanding children, Jamal, 26 (UCLA) and Jasmine, 22 (UCSB) both college grads.
After 22 years at DJO Global and 15 years in IT, I am working with the Alliance to fulfill my God given purpose of helping people while building a stable business for myself and my family with unlimited income potential. I believe what God said in Jeremiah 29: 11; “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” and Jesus reiterated it in Johns 10:10 when he said; The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
We were not meant to just survive, we were meant to 'THRIVE.'
If you are tired of not being paid what you're worth, tired of just 'surviving', join me at the Alliance where our motto is 'Make Money, Have Fun, and Make a Difference!'
